History Is Lunch

We had a great time presenting at History is Lunch the other week. The room was packed and standing room only. Thank you to everyone that came out to support us and our film. Thank you to MDAH for having us. Thank you to the Elport Chess family for being part of the event. We look forward to seeing everyone again soon!

History Is Lunch on September 7

Join us Wednesday, September 7 at the Mississippi Department of Archives and History, for their “History is Lunch”
series, from 12:00 – 1:00. Our own Dr. Wilma E. Mosley Clopton will present “Elport Chess and the 1947 Lanier Bus Boycott.

Four members of the class of 1947-’48, who were on the bus with Elport Chess will be a part of the panel discussion to follow the film. See you there!
