We are pleased to welcome back Chef Nick Wallace of the Mississippi Museum of Art, located at 380 N Lamar St., Jackson, MS! Chef Nick received the “Top Bash Chef” designation at the 2013 Bash. Nick has served as the Coordinating Chef of The Filmmaker’s Bash since its inception. His culinary philosophy and passion reflects a healthier lifestyle, working with local farmers to use the finest local and regional organic produce.

Did you know that Nick’s grandmothers, Queen Morris and Lennel Donald, are given the credit for his beginning in culinary arts? They realized early that he had an aptitude for cooking. Nick blends his family farm origins with sophisticated French techniques to create a modern Mississippian cuisine. His classical culinary school training combined with kitchen experiences that span from Jackson, Mississippi to Anchorage, Alaska gave way to his ability to improvise based solely on his instincts and passion for exceptional, palate-pleasing food.

Enjoy Nick’s delicious dish at the “Filmmaker’s Black Tie, Blue Jeans & BBQ Bash” on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Mississippi Museum of Art. Purchase your advance tickets: https://filmmakersbash2017.eventbrite.com
