It’s About You Film Festival

It’s About You Film Festival is an exciting showcase of films made by or about people of African descent. The mission of this film festival is to: (1) display works that express the African American experience in a positive manner; (2) offer networking opportunities with industry professionals for participants; (3) provide participants with educational workshops to sharpen film production and marketing skills; and (4) share a rich cultural heritage. (Please note that filmmakers need not be of African or African American descent to participate.)

Guidelines: This is a short film competition. Documentary and narrative formats are accepted in any genre, including adventure, animation, comedy, drama, experimental, horror, romance, science fiction, and suspense.
